Settling in...

So the wedding and the honeymoon are over...It's so weird because it's something we (girls at least) look forward to for soooo long and then when it's over it's hard to believe it actually happened! I honestly don't think it could have gone any better. The weather ended up being perfect. The only way to explain that is the Lord's favor being poured out on us because in Oklahoma you never know! And nothing crazy happened! We were just waiting because it seems like something unusual happens at every wedding... whether it's someone answering their phone during the ceremony or a groomsman fainting it's always interesting to see what's next. Nothing too major happened for us though....unless I'm unaware!

It was so incredible to be surrounded by so many friends and family. "Thank yous" are not enough when people sacrifice so much to travel just for a few days to see us get married. Honestly, I was overwhelmed with gratitude. It meant the world to both of us. We are so blessed to have incredible people in our lives.

So the last week since we have been home has been filled with getting the apartment put together, writing thank you cards, getting back to work, and just figuring out what it's like to live together! It's soooo much fun! Sometimes I feel like a teenager defying her parents and living with her boyfriend, but then I remember that he's actually my husband and it's totally allowed! He's such a great roommate too. I am one of those lucky girls that got a neat freak for a husband. No complaining here!

Now we are waiting for Efren's immigration paperwork to go through so he can start school and get a job! Hopefully it won't take very long, but there's no way to know. Prayers for that would be great! I'll try to keep you updated!

Good to hear that you all are back safe and they let you all back into Oklahoma! We were more than happy to be there for the wedding and glad that we could be! Of course we will continue praying for you guys. Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do (except money...we don't really have much of that right now)!

PS - Have you played Pictionary Man yet? We love it! We might have splurged a little and bought it for ourselves too. Good times.
